Eilean Mór No. 1 – Complimentary to the image Eilean Beag No. 1, the only other island which inhabits the Gulf of Corryvreckan can be seen here in a view from the north. It is upon this island that the writer George Orwell and members of his family escaped drowning while on a boating trip through the Corryvreckan.
