Okay, lets face it,
long time readers of the 'The Isle of Jura' web pages knew we were
going
there; yes, we've gone high-brow and have added this web page as an
amusement for our local folks. Why? Many people come to
Jura believing that we are somehow bereft of all cultural interests and
abilities (there are several quite good local painters, drawing
specialists and photographers-to name a few...), so we've decided to
turn
the tables and critique how "the real world" views us. Please
send us your wordly views!

Eric Redmonds, "By Feolin Farm, Jura"
Critique: Okay, we'll
bite...where did he say this was???

Kurt Jackson, "The Paps of Jura from Cnoc Ruaridh"
Critique: Been there many
times and well, it doesn't look like this...
Go to Kurt
Jackson to see more of his Jura campaign.

Gillian MacDonald, "Jura
View"
Critique: A rough morning for
the artist and for Jura we'd say...
Go to Gilliam
MacDonald for more of this.

Phillip Hughes, 'The Paps from Islay I'
Critique: The 'classic' view of
Jura, done as a watercolour...don't remember there being a huge crevice
to the
right of Inver forest though...hmmm...

Hughes Art for more of this.
