     Welcome to the website that features the "Isle of Jura"!  Everything from people to wildlife is presented and discussed on this website.  Produced by the Feolin Centre, a not-for-profit research company located on the island, the goal of this website is to provide information and news about the island and its activities that are hard to find through "normal" media channels.   So if you're interested in the island where George Orwell wrote "1984", the Ardfin Gardens, local whisky production, legends and superstitions, our famous red deer or the Paps of Jura, this is the place.

 

      This website is not supported by any commercial, governmental or religious organisation. It simply endeavours to disseminate information about matters concerning the island that other websites do not provide.....So, welcome to a free speech zone!
